Barbara is from King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia and once known as having the largest mall in the U.S. Barb came to Florida to attend college following in her brother’s footsteps, who always wanted to live in Miami but landed in Tampa. She graduated from Florida Southern College with a B.A. in Mathematics and continues to this day to enjoy working with numbers. One of Barb’s co-workers uses her as her human adding machine.
Barbara has one son, Justin, who has blessed her in the last eight months with a daughter-in-law, Mandy. Whenever possible, she travels to Spring Hill to visit with them and play their favorite games, Spades and Poetry for Neanderthals. At home, Barb resides with her life partner of 22 years, Bill, and 3 spoiled fur babies, 2 of which are puppies. The newest addition to her family is Max, an adorable, energetic pug puppy. When Barb is not spending time with her family, she enjoys reading, especially James Patterson books.
Barbara’s love of working with numbers has led to her career in public accounting for over 21 years with an emphasis on bookkeeping and payroll support. Barb joined CPS as an Accountant in August of 2017. She enjoys working with her clients and providing training and assistance with QuickBooks.
