Gary E. Clark

Financial Advisor

Commissioned in 1967 through Air Force ROTC from Kansas State University, Colonel Clark served in multiple worldwide assignments, including in theater assignments with Task Force Alpha, the 56th Special Operations Wing, and Headquarters 7th Air Force during the Vietnam War. He also commanded the 487th Tactical Missile Wing Combat Support Group in Italy under NATO control, and during Desert Shield/Desert Storm, he served as a United States Central Command staff director for General Norman Schwarzkopf.

After retiring from the Air Force in 1993, he served as the Civil Service Director and Retirement System Director for the City of Lakeland for over 13 years and later joined CPS Investment Advisors in 2007 as a financial advisor.

Colonel Clark holds a Master’s Degree in Operations Research from the Air Force Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s Degree in mathematics from Kansas State University. He is a graduate of Air Command and Staff College, the National Defense University, and the University of Texas Executive Leadership Course. Colonel Clark also served on the National Board of Directors of the Military Officers Association of America, Chairs the Polk County Veterans Council, serves on the Career Source board in addition to other boards, committees and organizations.
