From Polk Education Foundation Facebook Post | May 11, 2022:
The Polk Education Foundation took Pete Golotko, President, and majority owner of CPS Investment Advisors, and, the owner of the Golotko Ranch, to a recent school board meeting to be recognized for his help with our Clays for Classroom sporting clays event. Pete helped the PEF with a one-of-a-kind night sporting clays flurry event. Participants and their guests were invited to bring lawn chairs and join in the fun which included chili cooked by members from Polk County Fire Rescue, children’s games, and an apple shoot (apple for education!), along with the flurry competition. At the end of the night, Pete even provided a fireworks show!
Pete is known in the Polk County community for his generosity, and we are so proud he found our organization, work and out-of-the-box idea for a night shoot something he wanted to support! The event netted $33,000, $10,000 came from Pete’s charity CPS Cares. Funds will be used to support classrooms thru our teacher grants program and Free Teacher Market.
Thank you, Pete Golotko!
