Coming from a military family, able to trace its service back at least five generations, Tamara began her career in 2010 as a financial advisor helping our service women and men both plan for retirement and transition into civilian life. During this time, she was able to fully experience the complex issues and challenges affecting employees throughout their financial planning journey.
As a Retirement Plan Advisor with CPS Investment Advisors, Tamara brings with her this same understanding and passion for helping employees as she develops and implements retirement plans for employers. She combines comprehensive costs comparative analysis with fiduciary guidance & advice, while ensuring employees receive dedicated, in-person education and financial planning specific to each participant’s goals.
When Tamara isn’t helping clients and their employees achieve financial independence, you can find her washing show cows with her oldest, Avery. Or chauffeuring her youngest, Grayson, on routes that include elementary school, jiu jitsu, 4H livestock shows, hockey and baseball. Though she loves to bake, she doesn’t eat sugar, dreams of living on the beach, and is a self-proclaimed gym rat.
Tamara serves on the Executive Board for the American Business Women’s Association Lakeland chapter, is a member of EMERGE Lakeland, and a Rotarian with the Plant City Rotary Club. She graduated from the University of South Florida and has obtained her Series 7, 65 and 63 licenses with FINRA. She also holds her Florida 215 Health, Life, and Annuity License.
