Tami Burroughs grew up in Ocala, FL. She knew early that she wanted to be a Florida Gator and attended the University of Florida for undergraduate and graduate programs. In 1992, she graduated with her Master of Accounting, Tax Concentration.
She began her career with Arthur Andersen in West Palm Beach. In 1995, Tami joined Baylis and Company and became a part of CPS Group CPAs with the merger of the two companies, where she has been able to pursue her interest in helping clients on a one-on-one basis. Tami’s special interest is in helping families with their estate and trust issues.
Tami loves to be outdoors biking, hiking, and kayaking. She and her husband enjoy traveling the United States and visiting our country’s national parks and forests. They have backpacked across Catalina Island and hiked mountains wherever they visit. They have been cyclists for decades and have biked such popular trails as Tsali (NC), Ellijay (GA), Tahoe (CA), and Durango (CO). They also fly small planes to destinations including the Bahamas, Keys, New Orleans, and up and down the East Coast. They are currently attempting to climb the “New Hampshire 48”, 48 peaks in the White Mountains over 4000 feet.
