For the first 5 years of his life, Job was raised in Cagayan de Oro, Philippines by his grandmother and his father. His mother worked as a nurse in New York City and helped support their family from a distance, until Job’s family moved in with her during the summer of 2008.
However, after visiting friends in Lakeland, his family decided that the warm sunshine and the beautiful beaches were too good to pass up on and moved to Florida that same summer.
He fell in love with accounting in his junior year at the University of South Florida when he joined Beta Alpha Psi, an honors accounting society. At Beta Alpha Psi, he received the honor of speaking at their annual conference in San Antonio, Texas and placed third in the nation.
After graduating from the University of South Florida (Go Bulls!) with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Job undertook a busy season internship at a public accounting firm specializing in tax. Job is currently studying for his CPA to further his accounting knowledge and professional growth. When Job is not working or studying, he is an avid pickleball player and college football enthusiast.
