Isabel was born and raised in Rochester, NY, the birthplace of the Kodak camera, invented by George Eastman, and the founding site of Bausch & Lomb in 1853. She is the daughter of Puerto Rican parents and spent part of her childhood in Puerto Rico, where she attended 5th through 8th grade and became fluent in Spanish. During her time in Puerto Rico, she participated in the Pan-American Games as part of a moving puzzle performance called the “Mosaic Murals,” although she did not compete in traditional sports. After returning to Rochester, her parents opened a bodega, where Isabel developed her interest in math and business, later pursuing college courses in accounting.
Over twenty years ago, Isabel moved to the Tampa Bay area, where she began her career in the legal field as a legal assistant. She enjoyed working with clients, adjusters, doctors, and judges while providing support on workers’ compensation cases. In her ongoing quest to pursue accounting, she transitioned to a role as a New Accounts Administrator at CPS.
In her free time, Isabel enjoys spending time with her large family, cooking, and attending church. She loves to travel to Puerto Rico and her hometown to visit family and reconnect with old friends. She also enjoys unwinding with a good movie alongside her husband.
