Peter Golotko is the majority owner and Chief Executive Officer of CPS Investment Advisors, with over 35 years of experience in investment management, financial planning, accounting, and taxation. He earned both his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master of Business Administration from Florida Southern College, where he remains a dedicated alumnus. A licensed Certified Public Accountant in Florida, Pete also holds the Personal Financial Specialist credential from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
In addition to his leadership at CPS Investment Advisors, Pete founded CPS Cares, a 501(c)(3) organization, and was named Philanthropist of the Year for his significant community contributions. Under his direction, CPS Investment Advisors has been recognized as one of the best places to work by Accounting Today, Florida Trend, and CareerSource Polk. The firm has also earned prestigious recognition as a top firm by AUM from Accounting Today and as one of America’s Top RIAs by Financial Advisor.
Pete has dedicated his career to helping individuals achieve financial independence, guiding businesses to exceed their goals, and assisting charitable institutions in maximizing their resources. He enjoys speaking at events where he shares his insights on financial planning, investment strategies, retirement planning, SEC compliance, and technology.
Throughout his career, Pete has demonstrated his commitment to his community through various leadership roles. He served as President of the Polk Chapter of the Florida Institute of CPAs, was a founding member of the Tigertown Rotary Club of Lakeland, and chaired the board of the Peace River Center. He has also contributed to the profession as a member of the investment committee for the Florida Institute of CPAs and the Ethics Committee of the AICPA.
