Zubaida has traveled throughout her life. She was born in Detroit, Michigan, raised in the eccentric town of New Orleans that she calls home, and has been living in Winter Haven for over twenty years. Beyond her career, she has proudly severed as a Sunday school principal, soccer coach and supervisor, shaping her leadership, mentorship and organizational skills. She is dedicated to helping individuals and businesses navigate tax complexities with precision and care. These diverse roles have led her to a bright future and strengthened her skillset to better serve her clients at CPS.
She is a proud mother of four beautiful children. She celebrates her children’s diverse accomplishments- One physician’s assistant, one on the path to be a medical robotics engineer, another one that will graduate high school with an AA degree, and her baby who is a junior high student making his way. When she is not immersed in work, she passionately watches professional and college football and takes spontaneous weekend trips to fuel her sense of adventure. Much of her time is spent chasing her children, studying to continue her education, frequenting the gym, going to sporting events, and traveling to new and old haunts. It is safe to say that she always has her hands full, but she has learned how to juggle!
Prior to joining CPS, she earned her master’s degree in accounting from Florida Southern and is now pursuing her CPA and an MBA. She strives to improve upon herself to become an asset to all those around her, while still having a fun side. As they say in New Orleans, “Laissez les bon temps rouler”.
